Volunteer Support

The WNC Jewish Federation welcomes Volunteers to Join our Growing Organization in Western North Carolina.

Yes, I am interested in finding out more about how I can help to support the work of the WNC Jewish Federation and volunteer my time in one or more of these areas:

 Super Sunday - the largest community phone-a-thon of the year. All kinds of volunteers are needed!
 Maimonides Society (Healthcare) - Volunteers who help identify new donors and help serve on a committee and assist with programming during the year are needed.
 Women’s Philanthropic Leadership Initiative - Volunteers to identify new donors and serve on a committee to assist with programming during the year are needed.
 Cordorzo Society (Legal) - Volunteers to identify new donors and serve on a committee to assist with programming during the year are needed.
 Business & Retail Division - Volunteers to identify new donors and serve on a committee to assist with programming during the year are needed.
 Discovery Day – an educational day of discovery about the Federation’s current beneficiary agencies and programs.
 Marketing and Technology Committee - volunteers to give input to all aspects of marketing, collateral pieces, campaign strategy and website development.
 Emerging Markets Committee - Volunteers to help reach out into the areas of Hendersonville, Waynesville, Black Mountain, Johnson City, Boone, and Banner Elk area to develop programs and meetings are needed.
 Budget & Finance Committee - Volunteers to assist with all aspects of the budgeting, and finance of the WNC Jewish Federation. The Jewish Federation’s Allocations Committee is a critical element to this committee’s work. These positions are selected by the Executive Director with Board concurrence.
