Allocations Process 2010

We are seeking volunteers for our 2010-2011 Community Allocations Committee. Call 545-4648 for more information.

Organizations seeking a 2010 allocation are required to submit the following:

If you received an allocation from the 2009 Annual Campaign:

  • On one separate page of letterhead, state the name of your organization and/or program funded, the amount of the allocation received, how the funding was used, and how our community benefited from this allocation.
  • Provide 1-2 high resolution (300 dpi minimum) photos, one copy of your best collateral material or brochure, one testimonial statement and/or your best positive press article regarding your organization or program.

For the 2010 Allocation request:

  • Provide a narrative description of the organization/project for which you are making a request.
  • Indicate the funding amount requested and the types of programming or goods or services that will be acquired or created if an allocation is received.
  • Describe the benefit to our Jewish community if an allocation is received.
  • If more than one project within one 501(c) 3 is being applied for, provide separate narrative information, the funding amount requested, the types of programming or goods or services that will be acquired and benefit to the Jewish community. If a separate budget is appropriate, please add the appropriate budget as an attachment for each submission.
  • Please limit the request to two pages, excluding attachments for each program funding request.
  • Please do not staple or bind the request.

Include the following attachments to accompany the 2010 request:

  • Financial information in support of the allocation request. The format for presenting such financial information may either be provided in a narrative description or budget format.
  • A copy of your organization's current fiscal year budget.
  • An indication that your organization is a 501(c) 3 organization.
  • Include your organization's policy on non-discrimination

 

In-person presentation to the Allocations Committee

  • For 2010 proposal requests of $1000 and above, the Allocations Committee is requesting that all organizations submitting an RFP, present their submission to the Allocations Committee in person.
  • Presentations will occur between January 18, 2010 and February 12, 2010. We will contact you to schedule a 15 or 30 minute slot depending on the amount of the allocation request
  • We will contact you to schedule the date and time
  • The professional staff member along with a Board representative is encouraged to participate with the Allocations Committee
