It is time for the WNC Jewish Federation (WNCJF) to kick off its 76th annual campaign to raise funds for Jewish agencies here and abroad. As always, we must rely on our fellow Jews in the community to continue the tradition of caring, all the more important in these difficult economic times. Now more than ever, we need to show strength and solidarity to ensure a continued Jewish identity in our community and real, material assistance to Jewish families and individuals in need.
During the past year we conducted a survey and listened to our donors to help create a stronger Federation. As a result, we are implementing a very lean campaign– raising funds for Jewish agencies with the least amount of fuss and expense. Also, this year’s campaign theme, “Follow Your Heart,” reflects an even bigger change to the campaign……. donor’s choice.
You can click the button below to see the list of the agencies and funds that will receive WNCJF monies in 2012. When you select one or more of these agencies when you make a pledge or donation, you can be sure that your gift will be allocated exactly as you wish. If you prefer, you can always select the “General Fund” and your gift will be distributed based on the needs identified by the beneficiary agencies during our allocation process.
